I am an MBA candidate and Student Ambassador at the University of Miami Business School with a passion for product management, marketing, and creating meaningful impact. My interest in these areas grew from building and growing my own cosmetics distribution brand, where I gained firsthand experience in understanding customers, identifying market opportunities, developing products, and building strategies that drive growth.
That entrepreneurial experience inspired me to pursue an MBA to deepen my knowledge of strategy, leadership, and business innovation. Since joining MBS, I have continued to explore the connection between customer needs, technology, and business strategy while developing my leadership and problem solving skills. My experiences in brand marketing, entrepreneurship, and AI and product management have shaped my goal of building products and strategies that solve real problems and create value.
As a Student Ambassador, I also enjoy contributing to the MBS community, connecting with prospective students, supporting career initiatives, and learning from people with different experiences and perspectives. Ultimately, my journey is driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to turn ideas and customer insights into meaningful products, brands, and experiences.
What accomplishments, projects, or milestones would you like us to highlight? (Required)
One of my accomplishments was founding and growing my own cosmetics distribution brand, where I gained hands-on experience in product development, customer insights, marketing, and business growth.
Another meaningful milestone has been my transition into Product Management and AI. During my consulting internship, I worked on an AI-enabled employee support product, analyzing user needs, identifying pain points, and helping develop a product roadmap.
At MBS, becoming a Student Ambassador has also been a meaningful part of my journey, allowing me to contribute to the business school community, connect with prospective students, and support career initiatives.
How has this person made an impact on the Miami Herbert community or beyond? (Required)
As a Student Ambassador, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the Miami Herbert community by supporting prospective students, promoting career opportunities, and helping create connections between students and organizations. Beyond my role, I enjoy sharing my experiences as an entrepreneur and MBA student and learning from the diverse perspectives within the MBS community. I hope to contribute by encouraging others to pursue new opportunities, think creatively, and recognize the value they can bring to the community and beyond.
What advice or message would they share with fellow students or professionals? (Required)
“Be intentional about the person you are becoming, not just the goals you want to achieve. Your career will bring unexpected opportunities and challenges, and you don’t need to have everything figured out along the way. Stay grounded in your values, keep learning, and surround yourself with people who challenge and inspire you. Success is not only about where you end up, but who you become and the impact you make along the way.”
